About Me Maya Gebing
Hi, I’m Maya - founder of Soluna.
I’ve always been a foodie. My first word as a baby was “more”, which probably says more than enough.
What started as curiosity around food quickly turned into a deeper fascination with how the human body actually works - and why doing “everything right” doesn’t always lead to feeling well. While studying nutrition science, I became especially interested in the intersection between physiology, psychology and biochemistry and how tightly connected these systems really are. Energy levels, digestion, appetite, stress and body composition don’t exist in isolation. They are responses to patterns, context and signals the body receives every day.
Living in a world where food is available around the clock, technology is constantly evolving, and we are both more connected and more disconnected than ever, quick fixes have become the norm. I know from personal experience how easy it is to get stuck in cycles of restriction, cravings, overthinking food and chasing the “next solution” - all while dealing with low energy, stress or a sense that something is off.
What I learned over time is that health rarely lives at the extremes. It’s found in the space between science and intuition, structure and flexibility, discipline and ease.
This is the foundation of my work at Soluna.
My approach focuses on metabolic health as a system - using nutrition, movement and lifestyle strategies to support the body’s ability to adapt, regulate and function well over time. Rather than rigid rules or one-size-fits-all plans, the goal is to understand root causes, build supportive habits and create a framework that actually fits real life.
Soluna is a space for people who want clarity instead of constant trial and error - and who are ready to work with their body, not against it.
Welcome to Soluna — where science meets soul.

Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science with additional training in evidence-based coaching (certified PN1 coach).
My work is informed by science and continuously shaped by ongoing education, practical application and collaboration with movement and health professionals.
Approach
At a cellular level, metabolism is where everything happens. That’s why I don’t believe in extreme protocols or rigid plans.
The body responds to patterns, safety and consistency. Nutrition and movement should support these signals — not work against them.
Who this is for
When cellular processes aren’t working as they should, this can show up as persistent fatigue, low energy or difficulty changing body composition. Soluna is for people who feel stuck between “doing everything right” and still not feeling well — and who are looking for a more sustainable, systems-based approach to health.
My approach is grounded in science, but shaped by the reality that health needs to work in real life — not just within perfect routines.
